I had the Smiths Car Thermo dual oil/water gauge of my 1930 Sunbeam repaired by Speedy Cables.
They are in the old Smiths factory Swansea.
Not cheap but not too long & they sorted a problem without quibble.

Ive finally got my Stag back on the road after a couple of years of being laid up, picked it up on Sunday from Crosshill Garage in Brechin, a classics and kit car specialist.
They fitted electronic ignition for me, a general service and tune up, MOT and even collected the car which was undriveable at the time from Aberdeen to trailer to Brechin.
Might be worth passing on the contact details to any fellow enthusiasts as I can't fault the service given at £45 per hour.
They had another red stag in the garage at the time along with various others classics.

I came across this man on eBay as he was selling reconditioned dynamos etc. I called him to see if he could do a repair on a 6 volt tractor dynamo. "No problem" was the reply "just send it down." So the dynamo was dispatched to

Within 3 days of dynamo being sent a call came saying he had received the item and he would check it out and get it repaired which he did at a very reasonable cost . The dynamo is now back in situ and all is well. I asked him about magneto repairs, he told me he is just about set up to do these as well he also said he will repair starters etc.

It is a self contained en-suite bed-sit flat situated in a quiet cul-de-sac.
It's only a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants.
There are no cooking facilities but there is a Microwave and toaster.
Bread, butter and coffee/tea are provided.
We tended to have toast & coffee for breakfast before heading out.

There is a TV with full Sky package.

Sandy did my front valance, welded holes etc and repainted. Moreover some other touch up jobs on my Spitfire. Excellent job, not cheap but get what you pay for. (There was a very expensive Old Bentley getting a hairline crack done on an otherwise immaculate bonnet when I was there, so knows his stuff ). I had to wait quite a while as he was busy.
